A former stone mason's workshop, this beautiful home is in the heart of Amble – a popular fishing town with a beach, harbour and all sorts of cafes and restaurants right on your doorstep. A mile from the historic village of Warkworth and around ten from Alnwick, it's a great, family-friendly location for a break on the scenic Northumberland coast. Thanks to its size and sociable layout, this place is perfect for groups of friends and extended families, with an impressive living room with vaulted ceilings and a log burner – not to mention a piano for sing-alongs. A well-kitted-out kitchen diner makes cooking at home a cinch and there's a barbecue and picnic table in the pretty courtyard for summer evenings at home after a day on the beach.

About The Northumberland Coast

Right at the top of England, Northumberland’s great expanse is dotted with medieval strongholds that have seen many a bloody battle. A landscape rich with history, you can explore the crumbling ruins of clifftop castles or tour restored and retained masterpieces at Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle. Fishing villages punctuate the sweeps of undiscovered beaches along the coastline. Tangles of lobster pots sit on old stone harbours while boats trundle...
